Motivating Creativity has evolved, and today our direction is clearer than ever: fashion comes first.

What began as a broader creative brand has grown into a more focused mission—creating fashion with purpose, with our current attention centered on one problem many women know too well: finding jeans that truly fit a taller frame.

For women 5’8″ and taller, buying jeans can become an exhausting cycle of compromising. The waist fits, but the inseam is too short. The length works, but the rise feels wrong. A pair looks perfect online but fits completely differently in real life. Add different body proportions, shoe heights, stretch preferences, and everyday movement, and finding the right pair becomes much more complicated than simply choosing a size.

Motivating Creativity is being built around understanding those details.

Fashion With a Clearer Purpose

Our fashion direction is focused on creating clothing that considers the woman who will actually live in it—not simply how the garment looks in a product photo.

Our current hero product, Purpose in Motion Tall High-Rise Bootcut Jeans, is being developed for women 5’8″+ with longer inseam needs and the everyday fit concerns tall women repeatedly experience.

That means paying attention to more than waist size. Inseam, rise, hip and thigh fit, waistband comfort, stretch, movement, footwear, proportions, and how denim changes through wear and washing all matter.

The goal is not to make a standard pair of jeans longer and call it tall. The goal is to understand how the garment should work as a whole.

Built With Real Tall-Women’s Experiences in Mind

Motivating Creativity’s denim development is informed by conversations and fit feedback from tall women with different heights, measurements, body proportions, lifestyles, shoe preferences, and denim frustrations.

Some women need more length for flats. Others want enough inseam to wear boots or heels. Some struggle with waistband gapping. Others find that the rise, knee placement, thigh fit, or overall proportion feels wrong even when the labeled size is technically correct.

Those experiences matter because there is no single tall body.

Two women can be the same height and need different inseams. Two women can wear the same numerical size and need very different proportions. A 36-inch inseam may be perfect for one woman and completely wrong for another.

That is why education has also become an important part of the brand.

Through our Tall Women’s Style & Fit Guides, we share practical fashion guidance on personal style, wardrobe building, body proportions, outfit coordination, footwear, denim fit, inseams, and everyday styling to help women make more confident and informed fashion choices.

We want women to have better information before they buy—not more confusion after the package arrives.

Purpose in Motion

The name Purpose in Motion represents more than a pair of jeans.

Women move. We sit, walk, drive, work, bend, travel, shop, create, lead businesses, care for families, attend events, go to church, meet friends, and move between different parts of life—sometimes all in the same day. Our clothing should account for that reality.

The Purpose in Motion Tall High-Rise Bootcut Jeans are being developed with a high-rise silhouette, longer inseam options, a fitted hip and thigh, bootcut shape, stretch, and distinctive waistband detailing.

Just as importantly, the development process is asking questions about how those design decisions perform on real bodies.

Creativity Still Lives at the Heart of the Brand

Focusing Motivating Creativity on fashion does not mean creativity disappeared.

It means creativity now has a clearer job.

Art influences our visual direction. Fashion illustration helps ideas move from imagination toward design. Writing helps us educate, tell stories, share what we are learning, and communicate the problems our customers experience.

Instead of treating fashion, art, and writing as competing industries, they can work together to strengthen one central direction.

Fashion is the business. Creativity is how we build it.

That distinction allows Motivating Creativity to remain true to its name without trying to become everything at once.

Original Wall Art

Original Motivating Creativity artwork remains available separately through our Zazzle collection.

The wall-art collection represents another side of the creative work behind the brand, with expressive artwork created around themes such as identity, individuality, culture, imagination, confidence, and visual storytelling.

Wall art is not the primary direction of Motivating Creativity’s fashion business. It remains an additional way to experience the artwork that has been part of the brand’s creative history.

Our focus moving forward is intentionally clearer: fashion leads.

Books and Writing

Writing has also been part of the Motivating Creativity journey from the beginning.

Published works and earlier creative writing remain part of that history, while the current blog is increasingly being used as a practical fashion resource.

Readers can expect more content around topics such as:

  • Tall women’s jeans and denim fit
  • Inseam measurement and length selection
  • High-rise and rise proportions
  • Bootcut denim
  • Jeans for long legs
  • Styling different inseams with different shoes
  • Body proportions and fit
  • Tall women’s wardrobe guidance
  • Online denim shopping
  • Everyday styling and personal style

The objective is simple: provide useful information women can actually apply.

Why Choose Motivating Creativity Today?

Motivating Creativity is building fashion with tall women’s real fit needs in mind—from inseam and rise to proportions, comfort, movement, and everyday styling.

We’re still developing, testing, and listening to the women we want to serve. That process helps us make more informed product decisions instead of assuming that a size label tells the whole story.

Choose Motivating Creativity if you want to follow a growing fashion brand committed to understanding tall women and creating better-fitting options with purpose.

A More Focused Future

Motivating Creativity is moving forward with a clearer direction: fashion first, tall women at the center, and denim as the starting point. Our focus is on understanding fit, listening to customers, building trust, and creating more intentional fashion choices for tall women. Art, writing, and creativity remain part of the brand’s foundation, but fashion is where they now come together.

Welcome to the next chapter of Motivating Creativity—style with purpose, designed with tall women in mind.

Writing has been a way for me to communicate without using my voice since I was a child. I stopped writing for a while but eventually picked it up again. I still have some way to go to extend my skill, but I will always keep writing I love it.
